Wow, has time flown by.
When I started by blog, I told myself I'd aim to share something every other month. Not a difficult deadline, right..?
Well, it's been FIVE months since my last post! I'm sorry to whoever is reading and to myself for missing my own deadlines.
But as a welcomed segue, I am taking this opportunity in the blog ether to share some exciting news!

Looking Ahead: Welcome to My Creative Chaos!
All of this excitement has made me realize just how much goes into bringing a book to life—from that first random scribble of an idea to holding the finished copy. Moving forward, I want to pull the curtain back a bit and bring you along for the ride.
I'm working on sharing a lot more behind-the-scenes looks at my day-to-day life as a children's book author. I’ll be showing you things like my actual writing routine, how I deal with creative blocks, and how characters like Munchkin and Buttercup are created.
Speaking of which... here is a little secret just for my blog readers: BOOK #2 IS OFFICIALLY IN THE WORKS!
Right now, the book's brilliant illustrator and I are right in the middle of early storyboarding. It’s so fun watching the new pages take shape. If she gives me the green light, I’ll be posting a sneak peek of our early sketches here very soon!
